I saw that sign on a marquee as I was driving my mom to her doctor's appointment and I pointed it out to her. When I had time to reflect on it, it hit home. I thought of Job and all he sufferred and all he experienced. "Why have you made me your target? Have I become a burden to you?" [Job 7:20] He had so many questions many of which we read and can often relate to. When we are going through that valley of darkness, fear, uncertainty, or worry, we can often ask why and not really get an answer. God does not waste a hurt. A friend once told me "God does not allow things to happen so that you will pull out of his work...don't give up!"
While we may think we are passing a "hell" on earth, that is the time for us to keep on marching. Keep on working, though your legs may feel weak and your spirit worn, don't stop. The effects of stopping can be much more detrimental. As Job walked through it, he acknowledged "I know my Savior lives and in the end, He will stand upon the earth!" [Job 19:25] Don't Stop!
