It has been a wild rollercoaster ride. Since my uncle passed away, my sisters have rallied with me to minister to my cousins. We were just settling in for the weekend when we received a call from my brother. His grandmother by marriage was in the hospital for a heart attack. She was not just any grandmother, my brother's wife grew up with her. They spent endless days together and lived just a short distance apart and within 24 hours she was gone.
We do not know what tomorrow holds for us but I do know this, I have the promise of eternal life. That is what I desire for my relatives. Though they mourn today, tomorrow they will rejoice as they have the hope of seeing their loved one once again. As the world continues to go on around us, tonight and tomorrow we will be saying our final goodbyes. Praise God we will see him again and very soon, our mourning and grief will turn to joy.
Thank you for your prayers!
I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve but your grief will turn to joy. John 16:20
